Confederacy of Independent Systems

The Confederacy of Independent Systems (CIS), also known as the Separatists was a separatist movement, led by Count Dooku, that declared intentions to leave the Galactic Republic. Eventually, tensions between it and the Republic developed into war after Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Padmé Amidala were sentenced to execution on Geonosis. The CIS put fear in the hearts of countless citizens of the Republic, largely due to General Grievous, Supreme Commander of the Droid Armies. The Confederacy won many battles in the ensuing war but was dissolved when its leaders were killed on Mustafar, allowing Palpatine to reform the Republic into the Galactic Empire.
The Separatists had many different ships like Battle Cruisers, battleships, starfighters and frigates. There were also many vehicles they developed, and several different types of battle droids, like Super Battle Droids, Spider Droids, Buzz Droids, Magna droids and many more. The Seperatist army also had many vehicles at their disposal, like MTTs, AATs, STAPs and Droid Carriers.
