The Mos Espa Podrace Lego® Star Wars set was released in 1999. It was one of the first LEGO Star Wars sets ever released and was part of the Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace line. The set was originally retailing for $89.99, and contained 894 pieces.
It includes minifigures of Anakin Podracer, Gasgano, Sebulba, R2-D2, Jar Jar Binks, Padmé Naberrie, Qui-Gon Jinn and three Pit Droids. It also featured a short comic at the end of the instructions. This was one of the only sets to include Padmé.
In 2011, the 7962 Anakin's and Sebulba's Podracers LEGO Star Wars set was released, thus marking the only modern re-release of the podracers included in this set.
