A Wookiee Warrior minifigure
Wookiees were resident species of the planet Kashyyyk. They were big creatures who had hair covering their whole body. Wookies usually wielded Bowcasters for attack and defense, but used other weapons too. Jedi Grandmaster Yoda held close ties to the Wookiees of Kashyyyk. They were aided by Republic troops in the Clone Wars, during the Battle of Kashyyyk, however during the battle, the Supreme Chancellor executed Order 66 causing the clones to turn on the Jedi. Their main vehicles included Oevvaor Jet Catamarans. Chewbacca and other Wookiees are playable characters in Lego Star Wars: The Video Game and Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga. A notable Wookie is Chewbacca.
